We are excited to announce that 11 graduate students will be joining us in Panamá City, Panamá, with a majority of graduate students presenting their research at the consultation.
This year we have four graduate students competing in our second annual 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Oral Competition. The competition will occur on Thursday, March 16th at 10:30 AM local time in Room 108. Let's give a special welcome to this year's competitors:
Join us for our Graduate Student Panel on Saturday, March 18th at 10 AM local time in Room 101. The first half of the panel will feature graduate students Savannah Graham (4th-year Doctoral Candidate, Texas Christian University), Ihsan Ghazal (3rd-year doctoral candidate, Texas Christian University), and Dorcus Boateng Asa-Ntow (Doctoral Student, Fordham University), talking about their experiences as graduate students. The second half of the panel will feature Dr. Sumreen Asim (Associate Professor, Indiana University Southeast), Dr. William Thornburgh (Assistant Professor, Eastern Kentucky University), and Dr. Dennis Showers (Distinguished Service Professor, SUNY) as they talk about their "Top 3" pieces of advice for the academic job search. The International Consortium for Research in Science & Mathematics Education (ICRSME) is seeking applications for Editor or Co-Editors for the Electronic Journal for Research in Science & Mathematics Education (EJRSME). The five-year term of editorship begins in 2024 and extends through 2028.
